I Heart Faces Photo Challenge {Pets}

Pets! One of my very favourite things in the world! We have three pets in this home. Two cats, one named Jasper and the other named Mikki and our new dog (we got him on Valentines Day!) called Finn. We like to also call him Finnbar, Finnie, Finnie Winnie - you get the idea I am sure.

Anyway, Finn is the most handsome dog you have ever seen and that's the complete truth! He knows it and we know it!

However, you are not going to see handsome Finnie in this entry - you are going to see Twisted Finnie. I could have shown you Freaky Finnie, Lazy Finnie, Sleeping Finnie, Pretty Finnie, Smiling Finnie or Swimming Finnie - but no, you got Twisted Finnie today!

PS: If you want to see how divinely gorgeous Finn really is - you can go and have a look at him here at my other blog you will need to scroll down a little though.

and of course - you must go over to I Heart Faces and check out all the pet images - they are gorgeous! Don't forget to leave comments for everyone - we love it xx

I Heart Faces - Photo Challenge {Wind}

It is school holidays here at the moment and such a divine Autumn day, so I took advantage of my youngest offspring and we did a mini-shoot down at our local beach especially for this challenge.

I used my Canon 50D along with my Lensbaby Control Freak. (Well really it is the 3G but almost the same as the Freak!) I do love that lens system and have been using it more and more in my photography. I was happy with so many of the shots I took but most did not have her face clearly showing. Here is one that did. I just love the movement in the scarf.

Please pop on over and check out all the windy shots over at i heart faces!

I Heart Faces - Photo Challenge {Shadows}

The theme this week is Shadows. I love shadows and I have a whole stack of images that have shadows but not the good type!

I really love this image of my friend's daughter jumping on the tramp in their back yard - the shadow speaks to me and, in isolation, looks like a gorgeous, twirling ballerina. I focused on the shadow and I think this helps show her movement to the left of the frame. What do you think?

Want more shadow magic? Head on over to i heart faces and check them out! Don't forget to leave some blog love for the entries - everyone loves some comments!
